I got mixed feelings of this gayboy. On one hand I think the season tends to lean in way too hard on Pokémon relationships feeling parental or romantic, but on the other hand his voice actor is really good. Do the weird Pokémon relationships ever get toned down?
I’m also surprised that it took so long to have a character whose gimmick is “use a new ducking Pokémon every week”. Really feels like Pokémon should’ve had a character doing this from day one. Don’t really like how team rocket does it with their slot machine gimmick though
