Hi there! I'm the admin of the IRC. Place is kind of in a state of disrepair and inactivity. I've been talking to some of the other former admins, and we decided that, while it would be trivial to "rebuild" the room to the way it once was, we noticed that you could count the number of people lurking in there (and almost certainly never interacting) on one hand. This, perhaps, is a sign.
What I was thinking is that maybe, given the rolling tides of time, IRC is simply not a platform most people care to use anymore. A lot of IRC communities have moved on to public Discord servers, even within the scope of /vp/ generals. So, why not us? Do you think that's something that should happen? I and some other moderators of the IRC are all willing to moderate, and we could recruit more help in that regard if needed once the idea gets off the ground.
