Basically like any other Pokemon game except you get to make fusions.
There's like a bajillion possible fusions programmed into the game so it tends to run like shit, but it's pretty fun otherwise.
Most of the fusions are auto-generated and look kinda shitty, but a bunch of people have come togeter to make thousands of the custom sprites you see in this thread.
