Adventure was riddled with weak and unforgettable villains, super repetitive episode format in the beginning, and some major plot holes which also partially came from the writers having ADHD with characters and side stories. The only saving grace was the writing of most of the kids and their interactions with their Digimon and each other, though a couple felt really undeveloped by comparison.
And Kari was a massive sueTamers wasn't perfect, but it was much better.
