>>21650536i like the gen 1 pokemon best. not because i hate the new ones (i like the new ones too). but gen 1 pokes are my favorite because they are the ones i grew up with. so everytime i see one amongst the vast sea of new faces it warms my heart with nostalgia to see my old buddies. but i only actually run two gen 1 pokes on my team (gengar and kangaskhan).
the best way i can describe it is to move to a new country and feel alone. then you see one of your old friends has moved to your new home. it makes you feel good and gives you a sense of familiarity.
