Say tomorrow they make it so you only get 999 exp per excellent throw than 1000.
Is it really affecting anyone, let alone [imaginary demographic you don't like]? Not really.
But what it means is they are deliberately going out of their way to make the game strictly worse for no particular reason
And that's why people are annoyed because there's enough wrong with the game in general without them wasting time on pointless regressions.
