All the fire-fighting moves are cool, like Blazekick and Firepunch you can learn through the moverelearner and the actual fighting moves with STAB can take care of opposing types. You can sweep the Elite Four, until the Champ in Emerald, but in the other games it's too easy.
Use Sunny day and just wreck others, or Focus Energy and fighting moves
