I honestly don't see what makes this Gen 7 considering:
- Battles look exactly the same
- Strong focus on Zygarde
- Kanto (rather than Johto) is still the region it "looks back at" (Alolan forms, Oak, etc), much like in XY (Mega Kanto starters, Mewtwo, etc)
- It seems all but certain that it's not going to add too many Pokemon
- Ash-Greninja still hasn't been revealed and seems to be a big thing
I honestly think SM is just going to wrap up the XY story, and bring the total of Gen 6 mons to around 150. I don't think Kalos will be entirely visitable, but I expect some locations and characters to appear in the post-game.
Anyones else agree?
