Since the description is slightly different, althought Arceus intended to have her children defeat Regigigas, this one is a separate one altogether. This “Black Giant” is who people assume is Giratina then? And the discussions mixed them up?
Then afterwards Dialga and Palkia offscreen manage to defeat Regigigas but Arceus opts to curse him and make him seprate the continents instead of killing him. Either because she couldn’t or because she learned human compassion?
