Looking quickly over the HGSS eyecatches it seems that pokémon can be repeated between times of day but not between locations. That makes picking eyecatch mons tricky.
Downward Cave has Cubzero, Pengliff, Koblin, Pebblosa, and Snome, correct? I'd like to save Koblin for the Coal Mine eyecatches. The Mine also has Pengliff and Pebblosa. As far as I'm aware, none of these pokémon are time-of-day specific.
With all that in mind, do any of you have suggestions for eyecatch pokémon for Downward Cave? Or interesting poses? I'm thinking of having Snome rolling down the icy rock outside at night, maybe.
