So much of the autistic fanbase still played the games as the grew up, which includes playing there games during puberty. So it is likely many of these autists developed most of their first sexual associations with these childish franchises, which only makes them more attached to these brands. This is basically why you see these people obsessed with things like Pokemon or Sonic and not more adult franchises that are likely of better quality or have more sex appeal.
Basically if Pokémon had a better selection of games I think the fanbase would be less of a porn addict circlejerk.
