>>44043372I don't know how much of it you've played but I enjoyed a lot of the exploring and sidequests, and a decent amount of the gyms were a blast to plan teams for, but I didn't really prepare my team for double battles so once I was locked out of Gearen and EV training for 4 gyms I really got sick of the game.
Most battles I barely scraped by and had to reset a decent amount because of how poor my doubles synergy was, and a lot of later rift/fakemon fights (you'll know the ones if you've gotten there) were just miserable with how most of my team got outsped and OHKO'd.
I think I went into the game expecting Reborn but more streamlined, and felt less than impressed since a strong majority of the terrains were imported straight from Reborn.
In spite of this, I'm looking forward to episode 13 when it comes out, the previews of the additions look great so far.
