Ok let's ignore the inability to transfer certain pokémon from other games for a moment.
That also means this game won't have a single species that you can only find the postgame (not counting legendaries)?
You know, like even though BW's Unova pokédex had only the 156 new mons, in the postgame you could find a few old ones in Eastern Unova. XY dex had the same with the Friend Safari, ORAS with the mirage islands, SM with the island scan, and USUM with the wormholes (even though the last two also didn't have a National Dex).
If it actually works like this, it's going to be the only time this happens outside RBY and LGPE, right?
