Here are the steps:
Catch the Pokémon you want.
If traded, breed to get a fresh one.
EV training is ridiculously easy:
Berries/Vitamins/Bands
Change nature with mints.
Change abilities with patches.
Exp and Rare candy to appropriate level.
TM’s and natural move pool for moves.
I regularly create special Pokémon for raids the day of the raid. It takes like an hour max.
