Compliments just about every beautiful woman he meets, including Malva (he forgot she was involved with Flare) and Drasna. Goes on dates with the female Ace Trainer, Beauty, female Artist. Hex Maniac, and Korrina. Despite his flirtatious behavior, he's completely oblivious to Shauna and Serena making moves on him. During his confrontations with Team Flare he learned a lot about the stories of an old king, and began to accept that not all heroes succeed. Is eccentric about receiving a Lucario, who he sees as "the" hero Pokemon. Likes to pose when activating Mega Evolution. Managed to capture Xerneas, and later finds Volcanion in the mountains. Looks up to Wulfric. Loves to learn about other cultures (especially their food) and after winning the League he travels to Sinnoh and Unova. He originally thought his outfit was very fashionable, but it wasn't long before Serena corrected him. Currently making his way through the Battle Mansion to meet those "gorgeous ladies". Ends up being very wealthy but spends a lot on food.
