Here it says that the Mexican Amphitere (pic related) has a North American subspecies with allegedly much larger, furry wings and body, similar to a moth or butterfly. About the dragon itself it says that it lives on lake shores and off shore islands. The adults are 14 meters long, 2-3 meters tall. It has a fiery breath, but it hunts mostly withcrushing its preys bones with strikes from its powerful tail and asphyxiating them, presumably via coiling because sneks.
We shouldn't use this one though, Sage wouldn't appreciate it.
