>>45120685This run's getting interesting. Two slaughters just occurred because I'm officially underleveled for the threats coming out in this cave. I've barely gotten through it but the Machoke/Mr. Mime fight outside and the trainer with the Hawlucha inside killed two and three mons apiece.
Butterfree fell to crit Psybeam + confusion damage from Mr. Mime, and Farfetch'd got taken out by Machoke's Low Sweep from full. No crit.
Hawlucha came out with a surprise Rock Tomb for my Vivillon, then took out Vileplume and Ivysaur with Aerial Aces. If those sound like horrible matchups, it's because they were. I had better answers like Golbat, but they were in the box. The only thing that could take a hit was Hippopotas, but it only had Bite to damage it back. Hawlucha ended up going down to sandstorm damage + a Leech Seed that Ivysaur landed while it was sleeping. Can't wait to be pulverized a bit more by this cave, cause I'm still refusing to grind.
