>>36968853I've replayed through the Advance era games to the DS era games and I have to say Gen 5 has got to be the most objectively mechanically-sound mainline game in the franchise. So it's a huge disappointment that it introduced a shitty powercreep, new pokemon which most can't even utilize their stats well nor varied, underutilized its new battle modes, and an intrusive long-winded story that interrupts up the gameplay so frequently. What a waste.
