Attract would be fucking OP especially with shit like Cute Charm. There is no standard cure for the status and with gay Pokemon no guaranteed swap out.
I could see someday in the far off future, in a magical timeline where Japan isn't a majorly homophobic country, Pokemon having a 1/whatever chance, of being gay. However, if attract worked on just any opponent it would be broken.
