>>54072173For a Pokémon with two pretty damn unique abilities, this is extremely underwhelming outside of its generation where it was only moderately useful. It has pitiful stats with a pretty bland design and is just screaming for a regional revamp or evolution.
>Change it to Normal/Fairy or have it evolve into a Normal/Fairy. It already evolves with the Moon Stone and is in the Fairy egg group already, so just do it. >Wonder Skin no longer cuts the accuracy of incoming status moves by half, it just straight up makes them ineffective. Now it's still a poor man's Magic Guard but a bit better. And this does affect status moves coming from your ally as well, just to make it quirky. >Normalize was already changed to give the power boost like the other type changing abilities, but the problem is that Normal is a horrible attacking type. Either give this thing even more moves to abuse (it already gets Thunder Wave, for ex) or change it so Normalize still hits for SE damage based on the move's original type (while still getting resisted like a Normal type move). In other words, if you use Normalized Blizzard it would still be resisted by a Steel type or miss a Ghost but it could hit a Dragon for SE. This could get confusing, but basically think of it as every move is still Normal type but it can hit the things it would normally hit for super effective damage if you still use it -- and you get the damage boost because it's "Normal.">Allow Normalize to also bypass type immunity to status conditions, allowing to use Normalized T Wave or Toxic to hit things they normally wouldn't (like a Poison type)Now you have a Pokémon that still has crappy stats, but the gimmicks might be worth it. You could send it in with full expectations to dodge all status being thrown at you, especially if they let it learn Follow Me/Spotlight. Or you can abuse the quirks of an improved Normalize to have a Pokemon guaranteed to hit almost everything they send in to take you
