I mean he is a mafia boss and horrible father which is pretty badass imo. And shit at losing too, claiming to the kid that defeated him team rocket is no more and he'll be spending his life "training" while in reality he just evolves some of his pokemon, catches new ones and waiting for his return in a little cave with a radio. I think it's that he's just a greedy asshole that makes me like him.
