>>46249781To put it in better terms,
The human body can withstand 42.3 C internally before you begin to become a Polynesian dish, and has an average temp of 37 C. However, your body is quite a sturdy marvel of nature, as your quite likely to survive an X Ray, which is at a warm 1000000 K, or 999726.85 C. But Marie Curie's X Ray medical standard is too small to do anything.
Magcargo on the other hand, well hugging one will leave you with 3rd degree burns in less than a second. As close as she is, Her clothes would be ashes, her brain fucking goo, and she'd be melting into a flaming puddle of flesh with bits of bones.
So if Pokemon was accurate, Magcargo would have left almost all of Jotho in ruins, and would make Sinnoh and Unova a more tropical environment that Alola. The entire Magcargo population, just to arbitrarily put them at 1,000, would turn the Pokemon world into a hellscape hotter than Venus, in which the only habitable zone on the planet would be the Stratosphere.
The only decent explanation for this is to say that Pokemon and their world are much, much more resilient than us, and humans are a type of Pokemon. Then again, this path makes the most sense and is probably canon, given the fact that you and your Pokemon can survive encounters with interdimensional horrors, the spawn of Satan, and beings even worse.
