Pokemon trainers are basically druids but with two to six familiars instead of one and no true form. Hell I'd argue that trainers only need "stats"to do outdoorsy shit like cooking, foraging/hunting and climbing. all the power is in the pokemon themselves and the trainers only exist as a point of self-insert. The pokemon themselves can use the full range of stats or traits you have in d&d since they're everything from a rock with a face to literally god.
