Set to casual controls and then you can combo waggling, A & zR together for better pacing if required. Try get the maximum amount of sparkles but not so fast they die off again.
Same with stirring. Maxing the sparkles usually means slowing down.
With the 'heart in', press A just before it reach the inner ring, so it lands within that ring.
Two people makes it easier, so if all else fails, go to one of the NPC tents dotted around Galar to team up. Or try combo with real people in the wild area.
