He only wanted more power, not to abuse it, but to have it; to be able to say he can go undefeated. Valk only tried harder, but everyday she tried and failed, she would fall back to Den. Den however was disheartened by this, because he loved Valk, he wanted to be with her but never had the ability, he never hod the confidence or desire to want to say something to someone he saw as higher than himself. But, he was always there, through every shitstorm he fought in, bringing an untold power, sweeping through all of Nate's damage control and unrelated images, smashing Putin's walls of text that would normally block out the sun. He tried to show her how strong he was, but only in battle. Valk saw however, DSP8 in trouble, being overwhelmed by a Legion of sorts, and ran to his aid, *sword in hand*.
