>>56502968True. I have friends IRL, but I don’t get to see them nearly as often as I’d like. None of my friends are girls, either, so it’s not really comparable to the Paldea friend group. My love for the Paldea friend group also comes from a sense of longing, if that makes sense. I wasted my teenage years staying inside gaming instead of actually doing fun teenage things (although I’ve always been reluctant to do those kinds of things, like partying, drinking, sex, whatever people my age got up to). Florian being a blank slate is good, which means that it’s easy to self insert as him. I’m going to have a very hard time moving on from them once the next generation rolls around, that’s for sure. I’ve never felt this attached to Pokémon characters before.
