I've never seen anyone bring this up before and it's something I've always wondered about. But do you guys think Fakemon artists can kind of be a hindrance to Game Freak when designing new Pokémon? I was thinking about how almost everyone is always bringing up how we still have no Dolphin Pokémon and I just thought of all the Fakemon art that exist out there of Dolphin Pokémon. I imagine that when Game Freak creates new Pokémon they probably scour the internet to make sure their new designs aren't biting any Fakemon artists designs. I think this reason alone is one of the reasons why new Eeveelutions are probably no longer a thing. Just take a look at how many Fakemon Dragon Eeveelutions there are. How do we as fans expect them to come up with new exciting designs without stepping on any Fakemon artists toes and being called copycats?
