When I first started brainstorming for the first one, I was going back and forth on whether to have Lillie or Serena in the starring role. Both were given Alice-inspired outfits in different media (Masters EX and the Diancie movie respectively), and both had a large enough supporting cast to fill in the roles of the other major characters. In the end I went with Lillie; for one, she's fresher in peoples' minds, but also because she has the look for the character that I wanted.
I've been genning up various pics for a while, mostly in this specific cosplay. When I landed the middle image in pic-related, that pretty much sold me on the idea that I could do this. The rest, as they say, is history.
