>>52429722I think what actually happened is the Professor wanted a time machine which could bring these ancient/future Pokemon alleged to exist to the present day and the Pokemon/crystals manifested a machine to do it. Its not actually time traveling, but it takes the monsters they expected to exist in the past/future and creating them which to the Professor looks indistinguishable from the actual time travel. There's also that thing about how the AI just suddenly "manifested" into existence because the professor wanted help.
