Definitely a Tencent game made for esports streamers to pour money into. I really can't support this, it's so creatively bankrupt beyond maybe the costumes. The low character roster kind of takes away from how Pokémon was meant to be about the VARIETY of characters you can run into and the richness of the world itself.
It almost feels like it could be an exciting game but it's too repetitive for me. I don't even care about the microtransactions if the money went towards quality improvement but
>TPC
>Nintendo
>listening to fans and making quality adjustments
This is why I stopped buying pokémon games.
I guarantee you the anime will eventually try to make Unite relevant as part of the universe as they did with Pokémon Go, and then MAYBE it will have some sort of creative life breathed back into it.
