I'm very into /an/, specifically reptiles and I have a good strategry for catching wild snakes that has worked for me in the past.
What I'd do is I would look for a Sillicobra, then I would sneak up behind it, pin down it's head with a stick then grab it's neck so it can't bite/shoot sand at me then I would punch it in the face until it's dazed and stuff it in a Pokeball.
After that I would fuck off to a better region and become a trainer with me and my Sillicobra.
