>>28781125No, it will not. By all means Talonflame should not be OU as it is. It has a pathetic Attack stat, it's walled by Tyranitar, Heatran, Landorus-T, and Rotom-W, all extremely common Pokémon, and it has that devastating 4x weakness to Stealth Rock.
Yet here it is, topping OU usage. Because STAB Flying priority is just that good.
Every generation introduces Rock types. All Talonflame has to do when its counter is out on the field is the same thing that any other Pokémon does versus a counter. It switches out.
Bruxish doesn't look like OU material. Water/Psychic is a pretty good typing, but name one fishmon that isn't in the lower tiers. Game Freak hates fish. It's going to have like base 80-90 stats across the board.
Rockdog is a different story. This thing can easily check many mons, NOT JUST TALONFLAME. Dragonite can't just Extreme Speed it like it can do versus any other mon with priority. Zard X won't get as many setup opportunities and needs to keep itself at a good amount of health if it wants to sweep, meaning it'll be less inclined to use Flare Blitz. Most Scarf users don't resist Rock.
It's definitely getting Morning Sun, so it can afford to run a Life Orb, and Stealth Rock, as like Deoxys-A it forces a lot of switches so it can set them up very reliably if it needs to.
