Prob a bit busy, but I think it gets the idea across.
-Crescent moon kabuto. One of the few things we know from the leaks. Fits both the visual design of the chest hooks, a classic samurai headpiece, and also fits the Dark type particularly well.
-Eyepatch implied, which gives it unique eyes (something pkmn designs aim for nowadays), and fits the specific imagery
-Gave it a spiky edge mouth to look similar to the teethy masks some samurai armors had. Fits Dark type ofc.
-Slightly conical head. Those seemed common in the leaked hints too but its debateable if that was intentional.
-I removed the chest hooks, as Pawniard use it to hook onto prey. I figure the removal symbolizes the highest chain of command, as they have no need to hook onto prey.
-The layered plate armor is for both a samurai look, and angled for Edge+leaning a bit into that insect esque look Sugimori mentioned.
-Tried to keep the overall body shape because I dig it how it is on Bisharp.
