Not OP here but I have literally the exact same situation here and if I don’t have to make a thread I’ll ask here. I skipped both of these games and legendd arceus. I didn’t even make it past the third gym in gen 8 before I quit. But I recently want to give Pokémon a chance again and was wondering if Violet is worth buying since I found it at a slight discount.
