Bisharp is my second fav mon. I wanted to do it justice based on the info we have.
It's mouth now continuously expels smoke. Samurai were known to carry and smoke a special tobacco called kiseru. So it's a reference to that. And the smoke combined with the crescent moon shaped blade on its head it looks like a crescent moon on a cloudy night.
I decided to go a symmetrical route with the design. It's right arm are stylized tekko-kagi and it's left arm is shaped like the head of a battle axe. I also wanted to go in a more monstrous route as well, according to lore if blade of a Bisharp head is chipped it retires it's position as boss. So I interpret that meaning it goes rogue, so I gave it a more monster like appearance.
