Instead of Z-moves being stones, they are "blessings" bestowed upon a pokemon (by a legendary or whatever). The pokemon is given general stat boosts (shitmons like Parasect and Cherrim would gain bigger buffs than stuff like Dragonite or T-tar), and the blessed pokemon is able to use the z-move (but a weaker version). This would be permanent, allowing shitmons to have more viability. Perhaps can happen once during normal gameplay (maybe multiple in post game). Like Z-moves, only one of these "blessed" mons would be allowed in competitive etc.
