A few weeks ago some friends of mine were discussing stuff they had lying around in their houses which they havent used for years. I mentioned my gameboy advance SP and they exploded with nostalgia and quickly remembered pokemon. I was pretty glad.
(I am a gen 6 player but i never really told them i'm still an active player)
At some point i mentioned i did have an old pokemon yellow cartridge and one of my friends actually wanted me to give him to so he could try it out at home. He did not get past Brock because of his horrible team and got lazy to grind.

Where i live Pokemon is not popular in the slightest and this really made me glad. He said he did like the game but Brock was dificult for him.
