I literally haven't played these games since my original playthrough when I was a kid. partyarlie's newest video, where she replayed X and Y to gain a new viewpoint on them, made me want to do the same. I'm thinking I should play through Y (since I played X first). Only thing that's putting me off is the dreadful early game (before the third gym) and the dogshit piss easy battles.
