Indigo blue matches the type perfectly. Reptiles are cold blooded and blue is a catagorized as a cool(not the subjective definition) color. Dragons also tend to be aerodynamic or aquatic, while Flying and Water shares different tones of blue but neither reach the tone of indigo blue. Which gives the developers more space to experiment with the color.
