- Frisk now searches the opponent (a random opponent if more than one) and discards their item.
- All item-related abilities (Klutz, Magician, Sticky Hold, etc) affect Plates/Orbs/Mega Stones too.
- Unnerve now affects Berries and Leftovers.

- Knock Off's base power goes back to 25, with no boosts when it knocks off an item.
- All item-related moves (Thief, Covet, Bestow, etc) affect Plates/Orbs/Mega Stones too.
- Magic Room disables Mega Evolution.
>Mega Stone changes
- Mega Stones now divided into regional stones - Kalosite and Hoennite.
- Mega pokemon introduced in these regions can use only their region's Mega Stone (i.e. a Swampert and Slowbro can use Hoennite but not Kalosite)
- For the sake of simplicity, Charizard and Mewtwo retconned to use separate region stones for each Mega Evolution.
- One Mega Stone per battle for each player - but you CAN steal or knock off an opponent's Stone.
