likely my last post for this, it's my most recent iteration of my desert. touched up a lot, does a better job of player guidance via the dirt path and adding the tall grass effect to the sand so you can't run/bike through it, as well as more deliberate-but-unfinished trainer placement. also trying no to attempt to block the player from leaving the path, instead using a reward/punishment philosophy (ex. the big patch of buried ninjas + item in the topward desert skip). still needs a LOT of deco, been trying to take advice from the desert in 111 but it's a small strip to work from. need to do a lot of work on the big sand patch to disincentivize+reward going through it.
any final advice/opinions while I'm touching it up?
