About half the regional kantodex would be swapped out for future mons that imo "did it better", some gym leaders would be changed type-wise and/or strategy-wise, new original moves and abilities would be added, the adventure would slightly repathed but not drastically, would still be very open once you're out of rock tunnel, if anything moreso bc I think I want to give Surf earlier, like after badge four
