>>45186743>Yes, and? When did I say that? You can't just bust out a greatest hits of arguments and apply them whenever you want, regardless of whether a particular argument has been made or not. I don't agree with that argument and I've never made it, so holding that against me makes you the disingenuous cunt between the two of us.I'll give you this one, I expected a typical response and jumped the gun a bit.
>It feels like you're arguing with a very narrow scope, your inability to acknowledge that each of these games and genres have their own kind of appeal and really do certain things very well just because you personally don't like themThey are competent games and that's the best you're going to get from me. There's a connecting thread between all three of those examples, and that's at the end of the day they all become monotonous slogs. When you play CoD you're getting the same basic experience with every entry, generally to jump in for standard multiplayer games. When you play a ubishit open world game you get the same basic experience, even between completely different franchises. Ubishit towers became a meme that even their own games acknowledged ffs. And sports, well that's fucking sports, normies love sports. But I seriously hope you're not expecting me to call them "good" because even sports fans have been bitching about how far their games have fallen in the last decade.
And another thing, I'm not even pretending to be unbiased. I'm very biased, from the perspective of a longtime Pokemon fan who hasn't had a decent experience with these fucking games since XY. What you call a "holier-than-thou" mindset is just me being justifiably pissed off that the first HD Pokemon game, something I'd been waiting for since I first realized the awful injustice that was XY's models being filtered through 240p, had to be such an unpolished piece of shit just to chase the praise of people who hadn't even liked these fucking games since the gameboy.
