It's time for the Elite 4! No losses during grinding, but I did run into a shiny Golbat while I was grinding up the final level of my final mon. Don't know if I should be happy or sad. Really love the team so let's hope we can keep them alive.
First up was Sidney, and it was a sweep. Don the Machamp beat Mightyena and Absol (swords dance Aerial Ace was a bit scary though), Spicer the Torkoal beat Shiftry and Cacturne with no problems and Crawdaunt went down to Rockgarden the Cradily.
Phoebe was a little harder. I start out with Brilliant the Sableye, the first Dusclops just wastes PP with protect and the first Banette goes down in one shot to Shadowball. Next was a Sableye-off, after getting hurt I switched into Harrow the Flygon to finish it off with Crunch so I could stay in for Dusclops 2. I forgot that one had Icebeam though, so that hurt but we survived. I switched into Spicer to finish it off with overheat. I let Pharos the Lanturn beat the last Banette.
Glacia up next and started well. Don killed the first Sealeo, Spicer killed the first Glalie but it set up light screen. Next was Walrein and I switched to Pharos. Thunderbolt did less damage than I hoped under screen so I went back to Don because I couldn't risk Lanturn to Sheer Cold. Don beat it with Cross Chop but got paralysed by Body Slam. He one shot another Sealeo and planned the same against Glalie but got fully paralysed. No-one else could take two ice beams, so I had to let Don die so Spicer could finish it off.
Drake followed and I let Brilliant beat Shelgon to save HP on the others. Rockgarden took care of Altaria with Ancient Power (and absolutely tanked an Aerial Ace even after multiple dragon dances). Drake sends out Kingdra, allowing me to bring in Harrow, who could take down both it and Drake's Flygon. Finally up was Drake's Salamence and I switched into Brilliant to take a dragon claw, chip it with fake out then switched into Pharos who one-shot it with ice beam (and barely survived).
