I got Pokemon Y not too long ago and have found myself running dangerously low on funds in-game, so I have a quick question I wanted to ask about making money.

Does it work like that or am I misunderstanding how prize money calculation works?
Also, if I spammed Pay Day with a level 100 Persian would that make a significant difference and be worth it, or would that be a waste of time?
I just really need to make money, and this seems like the best way for me to do it that I can think of.
Of course I would need to get my hands on an Inkay or Malamar that knows Happy Hour somehow, but that's a problem for another time.
If there's a better way to do it, I'd like to know.
