>>45415453Disgaea rules, it's super fun and has long replaced Pokemon as my favorite series, but it's really niche so its hard to get people to talk about it. If there were a Disgaea board I'd be there 24/7.
Anyway if you want to get into it jump in wherever you'd like, the games are all standalone so you can start with 2 or 1 or 4 or whatever. I'd personally recommend Disgaea 4 and 5 since they're both on Switch and Disgaea plays best handheld. If you want to play the series in order get Disgaea 1 and 2 off of Steam.
