>>39095262Based, holy shit. Prerelease Gen 5 was a magical time to be here, remember Wottergate? Remember everyone collectively trying to apply english names to the GenV Pokemon? I remember Jellybaby, Lolitower, Clowncrete and a few more. Even prerelease Gen 6 was better than this, people were adamantly arguing over Sylveon's typing, hype for 3D Pokemon and debating Megas.
Now it's like, no one wants to be invested in the starters after the fiasco with Barafags V Owlfags, there's no speculation about new forms since we already know there's no regional variants and any additional Gigamaxing forms are just going to Genwun again, Megas and Z moves are gone, and with current GF at the helm we can't even hope for another region, Battle Frontier, ect. All we can really do is rag on GF and hope our favorite Pokemon don't get cut.
