Looks like the negative emotions from the customers at Sunny's job attempt let Velvet evolve. Guess they were really potent.
That, or my own negative emotions from work leaked into the game. Either way, very cool mega. Seems like it could have a niche for long-range physical attacks with that massive attack stat plus Shadow Sneak/Phantom Force/Gunk Shot since the bulk isn't there for staying up close. Shadow Sneak in particular seems like a great fit since Banette's speed isn't anything special and it already has the minimum cooltime of 3 seconds while also providing guaranteed damage from a range. Could be good for both building meter and actually being a threat once the mega kicks in. Not sure about Phantom Force since its niche of bypassing Protect/Detect doesn't matter much and I hear it cam miss (unlike similar moves), but I guess it can be used to dodge attacks
