>>46916583for me it's just doing it as legitimate as possible without shelling out a tonne for one of the official carts (although I'm half-tempted to buy one of those gen 4 distro carts as a cool novelty when I have the money), I'm gonna do the same with a Japanese Emerald cart and Mew sometime in the future (also want to try out some of the JP-exclusive e-Reader cards as another reason for picking up a JP cart)
it's not like I'm trading them to anyone else, this is just stuff purely for me and I like looking at Pokémon I know I caught by hand instead of from a shitty event where everyone else gets the same thing
my ultimate waste of time test will be a Manaphy and a Jirachi hunt, those take like 5 mins per encounter minimum and also I don't think there's any other way to get shinies for those up until like gen 7?
