>>22743679Hexcalibur fortunately gets up just in time to catch sight of the Shadow Ball being charged. Compared to his own Shadow Balls, they're undeniably huger, and if huge is anything to go by, it's probably more powerful too.
The hero sword rolls his eye and groans again, "Nope.. I don't like it. Not one bit.." he mumbles, only to point a finger and yell broadly immediately afterward, "Now see here! NOBODY TAKES MY SPOTLIGHT AWAY WITHOUT MY SAY-SO! Both in this life and the next! The only one who lobs shadow spheres around here is I! The great Hexcalibur!"
"Getting a bit too cocky there, Hex!" you shout.
"As if it isn't the least bit justified," he retorts, "now order a command! I've all the power in me to take another chump on, and perhaps even another after that!"
He sure seems more determined than ever, it'd be pretty sick of you not to give him what he wants.
"Alright then, Shadow Sneak!"
It's just in case, because in all likeliness that boltbeaming monstrosity is bound to go first. Hexcailbur dives deep into the murky shadows down below, and it's here that he decides to make use of another new technique.

The Ace experiences a first. As it's charging its Shadow Ball, Hexcalibur forges a link to it using his ghostly powers and Shadow Sneak, then uses the ball of energy as an exit portal for his attack, allowing him to vanish and reappear right in front of the clone to strike it and leave it in a dazed state.
It's a first for you as well, as you don't exactly recall practicing with him the techniques he's shown off today.
Could they be from an earlier time?A) Use Iron Head!
B) Use Night Slash!
C) Use King's Shield!
D) Use "Trick the Opponent Into EXPOSITION"!
